Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round by TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd was victorious in an unanimous decision in a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters got the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by unanimous vote.
